Our Mission

BeMe helps teens feel better, get support, stay on track, and gain confidence to live happier, healthier lives. It’s teen life, simplified.

Trust and Safety

The BeMe Trust & Safety team carefully examines reports of rule violations submitted by users, moderators, and mandated reporters. We may take necessary measures such as issuing warnings, deleting content, suspending or terminating accounts/servers, and possibly notifying law enforcement.

We urge BeMe community members to report any content or behavior that goes against our Community Guidelines. If you encounter a user, message, or anything else that violates these guidelines, kindly report it to us.

Things To Do

The BeMe community aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where teens can be their true selves. Members of the BeMe community are encouraged to be kind to others as well as themselves and to be considerate in their interactions with the BeMe team.

Be Kind 🙌

  • BeMe will be a more supportive community if everyone is friendly to each other.
  • No bullying or degrading comments–even in jest–about culture, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, health, mental or physical disability.
  • We take bullying and threats very seriously. Please refrain from flaming, using hate speech, being mean, bullying, or engaging in any activity that may hurt or target other community members or BeMe staff.

Be Thoughtful 😇

  • Do not share screenshots of private conversations with BeMe Coaches.
  • For your safety, avoid sharing personal or private information. If you are in crisis or struggling with something urgent and need help immediately, individual support is best for you— call 911 instead of sharing this with the community.

Things Not To Do

We want BeMe to be a supportive community, so if we discover you stepping across any of the lines listed below, we will take action, which may include terminating your account with or without warning. Please note this is a summary, not a complete list of prohibited behaviors.

Nudity 🙈

Self Harm 🚫

  • Don’t promote or encourage self-harm. This includes but isn’t limited to content that depicts, promotes, normalizes, or glorifies suicide or self-harm or shows, promotes, normalizes, or glorifies disordered eating.

Hate Speech 🙊

  • BeMe has a zero-tolerance policy toward hate speech, bullying, or attacking a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity. And yes, this includes emojis.
  • Don’t share content that is illegal or prohibited, including, but not limited to, drug use, bestiality, pornography, and terrorism. Please note that this is not a complete list. If we find you doing it, your BeMe account will be deleted, and we’ll take appropriate action, including reporting you to law enforcement.

Disinformation 🙉

  • Don’t share misleading or deceptive information. Certain types of misleading or deceptive content with a serious risk of egregious harm are not allowed on BeMe. We will remove misinformation that causes significant harm to individuals, our community, or the larger public, regardless of intent. If you find content that you feel violates our Community Guidelines, you can report it here.
